EuskoSare and Foto Enrique Martín invite you to take part in the first edition of the Christmas photo contest. Send us your best photo and get an Olympus FE-20 digital camera or an equally-priced digital album.

The competition is open to everyone (amateur or professional photographers) with no age, nationality or any other restriction. Its goal is to increase the participation and the creativity among those interested.

Anyone willing to participate is welcome to enter the competition as there is no age, nationality or any other restriction.

Theme

• Your best Christmas photo

Photograph presentation

• The maximum number of photos that can be sent by each participant is 5.
• All photos will need to be submitted in jpeg file format, in either colour or black and white, with a minimum resolution of 1024x768 pixels.
• Photos can be modified (eg Photoshopped) as long as the modification is targeted at improving the quality of the photo.
• All submissions must be original, unedited and should not have been awarded any other prize or be awaiting the result in any other competition.
• The participant thereby agrees to let the reproduction and public communication of their entry free of charge to Eusko Ikaskuntza.
• EuskoSare has the right to reject all photos that may be deemed as offensive.
• EuskoSare has the right to reduce or extend the deadlines for submission.
  

Submission procedure

• All photos must be sent by e-mail to: argazkiak@euskosare.org

Deadlines

• The submission period starts on the 18th of december 2008 and its deadline is on the 7th January 2009 at 15:00 midnight in Euskadi.
  

General Voting

• The winning entry will be chosen through a general voting or rating procedure available through the 8th to the 15th of January. Only one rating per photo will be allowed. The voting system will be dismissed on the 15th January 2009 at 15:00am in Euskadi.
• In the case of a tied result, the voting deadline will be extended for a day; that is to say until the 16th January 2009. The only photos involved will be those in the tie.
• EuskoSare will announce the name of the winner on January 19. It will do so on its website.
  

Prize

• The winner of this year´s contest will be able to choose between an Olympus FE-20 digital camera or a digital album.
• The winner must choose one of the two prizes being given away.
